In-home Respite & Support
Our GTB Care Services provides tailored respite care and support services to people with disabilities, and their caregivers. This service promotes independence and well-being. This service gives carers a respite from their responsibilities, while still ensuring that participants receive the support and care they need. Our support worker will visit the participant at home to provide care and support, while the caregiver takes a rest. We can help with household chores, medication management, locating community resources, and other services.
Our home respite care and support services include
Assisting with household chores, such as cooking, cleaning or laundry, allows the participant to stay at home and maintain their independence.
Support with medication management
Support in gaining access to community resources such as health services or social activities.
If deemed necessary, may provide assistive technology or other equipment to promote independent living.
The aim of the in-home respite service is to provide flexible and individualised support that meets the needs of both participants and carers. The GTB Care Services promotes the independence and well-being of people with disabilities by allowing carers a break, and by supporting participants.
